musashi i'll answer that for ya, because i used to be an FA guy when I first started out bit over a year ago, and thats why I'm holding this dog and why I learnt to draw and read charts

almost nobody who invested on this recently based on FA made any money. reason being FA has nothing to do with a stock's price. FA is what a stock "should" be worth based on whatever model of FA one uses. the market doesn't give a rats about your DCF model or NTA backing or whatever, and proceeds to "value" the stock on a day to day basis as it sees fit

you see many stocks trading on a consistent basis around the consensus FA valuations? ummm... no.... wonder why that is?

SO funny that people come on here bashing chartists - anyone who followed the apparent fundamentals of this company over the last year is sitting on massive losses.

anyone who used a stop loss, determined by even a few minutes of looking at a chart, spared themselves a lot of pain

and before somebody shrills "but I havn't lost anything until I sell it" think about what you could have done with that money in the meantime while your CCC position's been comatose for 6 months or whatever it is

in terms of the FA approach to investing / trading, CCC is an epic failure for the majority of investors...
