an on-market is ipso facto UNCONDITIONAL and FINAL. They are standing in the market with a bid. Is all it is (conceding that they have completed a Bidder's Statement to keep ASIC onside).
Nothing stopping BBT telling their broker to put in another buy order for 30 cents. They could do it tomorrow, IMHO of course it's more likely not going to happen.
