There is also a thread related to this on the gold forum. I see they have also borrowed shares for ADU and RED. Those companies have not had a run up like RSG.
Could it be a bluff for companies they would like to acquire a position in and then they return the shares to the holder without selling any on market. Only paying some fee to the lender.
