commerciality

As I reviewed the announcements about the oil column, I noticed the reference to pressure tests being the source of the oil column discovery/confirmation.

"pleased to announce that the Sidi Dhaher well has encountered an interpreted oil column of approximately 30 metres on the basis of pressure data as well as oil recovered together with mud filtrate from down hole sampling" (http://adxenergy.com.au/documents/1317606609_ASX%20Release%20-%20Sidi%20Dhaher-1%20Well%20Encounters%20Oil.pdf)

Would this be a good indicator of commerciality? I would think that they would be able to tell from detecting higher pressure within the oil column zone, as opposed to reduced pressure? (I am not a O&G expert, so I defer to someone who knows better)

It seems that any higher pressure would help boost flow rates upon production, but again I defer to any experts out there. Anyone know?

Also: "reserves are contingent upon a successful well test with the objective of proving commercial flow rates and likely recovery factors" - i like the use of the word proving instead of testing, but would not read too much into this word choice.
