    Thx SOT, interesting post.

The 2010 release from Aileron reads as follows:

“It is testing a stabilized form of peptides, a small protein, to deliver medicine inside cells for a variety of medical conditions, including Roche’s priorities like treatments for cancer and inflammation.”

To me this reads differently to the ‘noise’ being made a few months back around crossing the blood brain barrier, which some have linked to PYC, possibly just being hopeful, but possibly indicates that the collaboration re the blood brain barrier may not be Aileron, leaving PYC as a strong candidate in this space?

Am I wide of the mark here?

Also interesting was that Roche / Aileron announced their initial deal in 2010 and Aileron received $25m. PYC received a fraction of that. I wonder why?

Another interesting point is that the Aileron collaboration has been extended Nov 2011 but the terms are also being withheld. Appears as though Roche like keeping their cards close to their chest. Similar timeframe and approach to the deal with PYC.

Hopefully with the Aileron collaboration announcement out of the way they can concentrate on doing the same with PYC and we can finally get some news out of PYC?
