Singapore Telecommunications’s Limited wholly owned subsidiary SingTel Group Treasury (ASX:SGT) is set to issue a new series of seven-year fixed-rate notes on November 28.
The JPY10 billion notes will mature in 2018, and are issued under SingTel Group’s S$10 billion Euro Medium Term Note Program.
The telecommunications giant says the issue is part of the long-term financing strategy, and extends the debt maturity profile of the company and its subsidiaries.
SingTel Group Treasury (ASX:SGT) reported a profit of $1.4 billion for the six months to September.
