sue12, what you say is true and the police involvement is a positive rather than a negative. It means that it is done in a controlled and limited manner. There is very little trouble and those that try and make trouble are not tolerated. Those that are working there are in a safe environment as are those that visit there. Drug use is not tolerated and all the girls have to undergo regular medical checks. It is a very realistic way of bringing order to something that is totally ignored or uncontrolled in many countries.
