I think we should only be looking at whether the current plans have merit.

I would not have invited people to look at GCN's 10 year chart. I think it looks dreadful.

A spike in 2002, followed by a decline. Then another spike in 2005. I don't know what caused this particular spike. It was clearly some unfulfilled promise, because the price since then has been in a remorseless decline.

Even yesterday's upwards canter does not erase the decline from the overall pattern in the 10 year chart.

There are plenty of GCN enthusiasts on this site, with whom I often don't agree. One thing we probably agree on is that GCN's past is best swept under the carpet. Look to the future, but look warily because there may be more to sweep under the carpet.
