I just "discovered" this website and I am APPALLED the ABC are buying into the "hype".

The page is full of negative scaremongering designed to tap into the emotions of those who are less educated.

Comparing water volumes to the average household and using "scary" comparisons such as 8 olympic sized swimming pools is grossly painting the facts out of context to those who are susceptible to emotive creative reporting.

My tax dollars are paying for this tripe??

Why doesn't 4 corners do a report on all the DOLLARS that gasland documentary maker has made on the back of his dubious documentary on United States Shale Gas extraction (NOTHING to do with Australian Coal Seam Gas extraction by the way)...
