Most of you seem to not be aware of trading rules regarding certain annoucements:
Takeover announcement: TRADING STARTS 1 HOUR AFTER ANNOUNCEMENT (you will notice this the case when a takeover annoucement is made before market opens, the company only starts trading at 11am rather than 10am, same applies here) This gives time for all interested parties to familiarize themselves with the announcement and understand it. Takeovers are more market sensitive and get the longer time period than the usual 10mins a normal market sensitive announcement has.
