Now and again I sit back and I reflect - there is not one, I repeat not one Australian geothermal company producing electricity not in Australia nor internationally. (happy to stand corrected if I have missed one).

Incredible result after all these years of promises and mirage chasing (5 yrs plus). But every year they are able to give people the optimism that 'hang on' it is just around the corner - next year.

I often wonder what actually occurs on a daily basis to justify the wage while the rigs sit idle collecting dust.

Now GDY is talking about another 4,000m production well. What happened to the shallows project to get revenue coming in and quickly (or am I getting confused with all marketing).

Now another cap raising is on the cards. Gee what will it be this time 15 cents?
