sell on fact or a re-rate on news? , page-34

Thanks for the posts, T4P, Ramses, Aces, and everyone who has helped point me in the right direction as far as research goes.

I must say that after doing my due diligence this weekend I am confident that on positive results the SP will rise considerably.. especially if it is tied in with some corporate activity as some here think it will be... the majority of SPs I have looked at moved up on positive news, drifted sideways and then gaped up on the announcement of a funding partner or licensor etc.. sometimes within weeks.

So, (best doctors voice) I have concluded that positive phase 1 trials have generally lead to a substantial increase in SP. Largely due to the de-risked new platform they reach bringing them closer to attracting licensing/funding partners.


And, I have answered my question and hence decided to hold until results. Sure there is the chance of something unforeseen producing a negative result but the potential upside seems worth the risk for me at this time.
