farmboy you know what you are saying is not true. You are well aware or should be at least that Howard also had to deal with another political party to get the GST through the Senate.
farmboy you also know that the only way to get the Malaysian deal through the Senate is with the Liberals support.
So you are incorrect that Labor has a majority "to call the tunes" in the Senate.
