Dont disagree with you at all with the possiblity that the tradies may reduce the pricing.I just dont think it will happen due to the demand for tradies from the mining companies.
If it does happen though , it will have major implications to the Australian economy.
The mining companies and School hall construction are fueling the demands for tradies, correct me if i am wrong but the school hall program is near completion.
It will be interesting if push comes to shove that the local tradies will re locate to mining towns chasing the dollar once work locally is dimishing and less lucrative.
My thoughts on property is mutual , my POR is just that so i dont care what the short term value is but i have minor reno's to do and i refuse to pay the $ that the tradies are demanding.
Therefore i have put everything on hold , I imagine that other propery owners like myself are in the same boat.
