Can someone remind me what the general sentiment in the weeks following the 7% drop on XJO?
Were the bulls saying that things were oversold, bargains galore to be found with BHP at 65, and the market would dig itself out, or were people loading up in cash and calling for doomsday?
Just trying to measure the sentiment between that period of time and now. I didn't hang around the XJO thread much back then.
I did have a quick squiz of the historic threads, and it seems the same people that were laughing at Martis back then for being so bearish after the inital drop are laughing at him now. It is possible that history repeats itself.
Just want to learn something from it.
Cheers.
