The outcomes of agreements with TImeone and Cliffs respectively is imho what will drive this stock. Depending on the outcome it will either be boom or bust as either transactions eventuate in financial certainty in the short to medium term. Cockatoo purchase will give us early production and cashflow, timeone agreements will give us project security. I feel the other issue holding this SP down is that PLV does not seem to have any leverage in negotiations and we dance to the tune of the purchasing/investing partner. the reality is we need Timeone critically but Timeone is not critically in need of us. the market is just skeptical and i feel that the company will be shafted in whatever terms get negotiated and as we have no option, we will all need to accept it....... as was evident in the recent Timeone transaction. I SYMPATHISE WITH BOARD as they have no control over SP and most have purchased further stakes in the company. It was not their fault that the PFS was what it was. However, the market was not prepared for this potential outcome cause the picture created seamed very rosy. This is what I blame management on and i hope they have learnt from this major error.
If the business metrics increases in clarity so will the market expectation that this is a business that will reward the passive investors, shareholders especially retail holders like most of us in this forum. I reckon within 4-6 weeks this company's fate will become clearer and i hope it is a positive one.
On the topic of manipulation lets not get too carried away. These are the dangers of illiquid stocks. Liquidity comes with substance and this stock is not seen as one with any substance......for the moment.
