Almost feels like management are going out of their way to keep the sp low. Few things make me think this:
* When final EU results were released they were announced as "ROBUST", when obviously that was a bit of an understatement.
* The signing of partnership deal with Quintiles could have been announced separately, instead it was slipped into the CEO presentation which has caused some confusion and annoyance. A separate announcement would have been viewed by more investors who are not current shareholders.
This, in addition to the fact that it has been specifically mentioned in the presentation that there is an increased possibility of mergers/collaberations with pharmas and also SM seemed very open and quick to discuss takeover possibilities in the AGM, makes me wonder if there is something more going on. Basically they are allowing someone to buy in at low prices to increase their initial holdings.
