Not to digress, just noticed Gold Coast Holiday Rentals are a HC sponsor - have dealt with a couple of the lovely ladies there (Sherie & Lindsay) - very personable, offering good deals.
Just stayed at "The Oracle" last month (newest, most modern and best hotel in Broadbeach). If you book via Peppers you will almost pay double, just to have your room cleaned and the bed sheets (cgull-KR, I know what you are thinking, those massage oils of yours are always hard to get out, lol...)
In all seriousness, I would give them a go.
