I'll give three reasons why I think KAH will announce the takeover this evening while in pre-open.
1) Holding the price down of KAH & EXT is costing money and also risks allegations of price manipulation if it were to continue.
2) Last night, half the vol for the day was spent pulling the price of KAH down by 3p on close. Expect similar to happen to EXT on close today. (Unless they get swamped with buy orders.)
3) CGNPC's bankers now have what they need to approve the loan. Why would CGNPC wait and risk making a TO offer that is no more than the market price?
