Sometimes I revisit the SSC boards to catch up.
In a perfect world with no GFC's, no Eurozone problems etc. a little speccie like this would probably fly - as it did not long ago and fly much higher I reckon.
But alas, grinning from ear to ear because you've acquired something no one else wanted for Eu 100,000, which will cost about $30mil to bring back online doesn't sound like a coup to me. Planning to drill a hole in Poland in the middle of winter (January) seems a bit weird too. I guess they chose not to mention in that article that SSC also took a punt (or so we believe) in West Africa - Togo.
Not a huge amount of cash in the kitty now. CR is got to be a certainty to get even one of these projects to the next stage. I guess like a lot of little speccies on the ASX it's a little money guzzler. And many of them could also be rated a "speculative buy".
I hope my friends and acquaintances who laid out some big $$ for SSC will get a chance to break even one day.
