The DMR is the 5th player in the negotiations.

They want a prompt resolution otherwise its off to the Courts.This is more than a commercial dispute in play. The issue at stake for the DMR is the legality of granting farms in favour of Genorah and Bauba.

If Anglo and ARM win the legal battle the DMR and other gov depts could be sued millions by Genorah and NKP after investing millions of shareholder funds on farms that they thought had clear title.

Due to the massive resource and impact on expansion of the Modikwa Mine both Anglo and ARM have been at arms screwing NKP for all its worth. Forget about a JV over Garatau with these two parties. The only JV which NKP may have to accept is selling the ore across the fence to Modikwa for processing.

In my opinion the DMR will approve any settlement on condition that Anglo and ARM do not return for a second grab.This is a test case. Watch the DMR brag once the deal is consumated.
