In my view BMN have a really average track record on shareholder communications and savvy PR. Granted it is a balancing exercise between legitimate news and self promotion but these guys promote like...well like a bunch of civil engineers - pretty much not at all. Like it or not - sentiment is a very important factor and (macro market factors aside) companies can influence market sentiment toward themselves and their management team through well managed communications and promotion. I'd have sacked their investor relations / PR dept long ago - do they even have one ?
