Just concerned you have glossed over the distance to rail..This is a very serious issue. Read Helmsec rsearch report into AFR and exporting coal from Botswana seems to get a little complicated even when considering AFR's Sese deposit is within 10 km of the existing (inadequate) rail line..
'A full scale seaborne coal export operation at Sese, notionally shipping +20 million tonnes of coal per year, requires construction of a heavy gauge rail line and port facilities. The South African coal export system is congested and unlikely to be made available.'
And it appears without a viable mode of exportation the value of the resource drops significantly...
'Botswana’s coal resources, particularly so now with the discovery of Sese, exceed domestic and regional power needs.'
This point suggests to me NMR is light years from generating any revenue from this deposit - meaning more CR's etc and was the reason I took a profit and stepped aside for now..
