    Bingy......good example......you almost had me there. Until I looked at my own CBA chart and realised I had an old time support line at 45.40. The area between 45.35 and 45.45 has been hit many times going back to mid GFC where CBA settled around there before heading south.

    So imo yes gaps get filled most of the time, but there are more valid reasons for the price getting to those points imo. I do not think traders/smart money/whoever took it down there to fill the gap, I think they took it to where long term support is.

    I might pay more attention, you've peaked my interest, but I do not feel gaps drive the price. On less liquid stocks, you'd go nouts trying to cover all gaps, up down up down
