QRSciences Holdings Ltd (ASX code: QRS), a developer of explosive
detection systems, has been awarded a $2.8 million R&D START grant by
the Federal Government to support continued development and
commercialisation of its Next Generation Explosive Detection system.
"The AusIndustry grant is a major vote of confidence in
QRSciences, the technology and our business model," said Mr Kevin
Russeth, chief executive of QRSciences.
"This grant will support ongoing innovation and feed directly
into the development of our next-generation core technology," he said.
Shares in QRSciences traded steady at 9.8c today.
