OK, I've been reading over the AELB website and found the following relevant information.
To summarise :
The time-frame for a "license" is a maximum 7 months. It depends on the classification as shown below. I'm assuming we fall under class A, the most stringent.
Note that a "Pre-operating license" approval may not necessarily take as long to process as a full license.
My hunch is that the POL will be granted in Jan/Feb (3-4 months from the submission in Oct).
