America is in a battle, a battle against various ideologies, groups and nations that aim to destroy it.

Historically the USA has fought its wars of foreign soils. This privilege is no longer available them.

Modern warfare is no longer only being conducted by battalions of armour and men in uniforms. Modern warfare is now being conducted on American soil, undertaken in part by ideologically linked individuals. The American authorities understand that times have changed and that they need to adopt their defences to reflect new threats. One area where they need to make change tactics is of course legislation.

It would be ridiculous to have laws that prevent your security services from defending the country. This type of change should be welcomed by all people who appreciate their freedoms.
