I was at a BBQ last nite with a State Manager of a Big 4 Bank.... guess what we were talking
the topic got around to the cost of money...it turns out (cutting a long story short)that this particular banks funding source is (about) 98% australian sourced, and,
they have allready factored in 2 rate drops to the cash rate @ 25 bpts each prior to May2012... and
he claims that other aussie banks Fund sourcing may cost aprox 3-40 bp at the wholesale level , also during the 1st half of 2012....
a perfect "shit storm coming in conclusion
