Just on the competition - in my opinion we are leagues ahead why else would all the big companies globally be even considering us if we were not the real deal!!

The competition you are referring to is Tosyl, and while it does indeed take 16 hours to prepare, mix & go only takes 5 minutes.

The other competition is NHS, or N-hydroxysuccinimide. NHS is stored in environmentally unfriendly solvent, which adds to the costs in terms of storage and is harder to use.

The competition is, shall I say, uncompetitive. The decisions are in the hands of the big boys now as far as most of the IVD companies are concerned. Geoff believes the next signing will likely be in the Research field due to lower barriers to entry and less riding on the decision. He also feels this way because a big IVD signing could come at any time, without them knowing.

Mark will be important I suspect because scientifically-minded people sometimes fall into the trap of protocol. Do everything by the book and let the results speak for themselves and eventually the signatures will come. Sometimes this works. Many times though the big boys play games and the life sciences is no different.

Someone who gets things done is often seen as an unnecessary 'non-tecgnical' expense in this technical market, however usually they are the ones that bring these companies out of their micro-cap existences.
