BIg companies are continually looking, though they do wait for at least the first JORC as evidence for their decision. In my experience the big boys don't slowly buy in, they come to the table with a complete offer if its a takeover. They don't muck around, besides buying in would create an interesting relationship with OK Tedi at the present time, who is a major holder. Also a hostile takeover won't work as the majority of the shares are held by long term holders, unless the offer to far beyond expectation off the bat.

Simply we need to keep drilling and let Peter do what he's paid to do. Some people forget his family fortune is also invested in FNT, so he won't sell himself short either.
