There is a basic rule on this, which says: in order to know if the printing of fiat currency has failed every time it has been tried throughout history one has to know what was the objective that lead to the printing of money in the first place, which maybe have been the prevention of deflation, the provision of emergence liquidity to the banking system, the need to act as lender of last resort to governments, the stimulation of employment and economic growth by lowering interest rates, the provision of a rediscount window, the lowering of the exchange rate, etc, etc.
So please, tell me in what way has the printing of FIAT money failed throughout history?
