"What if the powers on our planet wanted to immigrate to another planet what would they do?
They would in all probability provide a big boat and call it in our terminology a space ship.
They would then put two of each species, plus food and grain and send it off to another planet to start a new colony

Put in these terms is it still an absurdity"

Kingpins the answer to your last question is yes!

I suggest you check up on the number of species that currently live on earth. You need to take into account all bird species as well as slugs, worms, beetles, snakes, frogs, lizards, moths, butterflies, bees, bats, ants, mosquitos etc as well as mammals, fish, whales etc. Thousands and thousands of species - some of whom live in very specialised environments and only eat very specific food ie koalas.

Of course some of these are carnivores so they will need other creatures to keep them going. Where are these unfortunates going to be kept? And how are the whales going to be housed and fed?

I could go on but it is useless to provide such glaring obvious facts like these to devout believers who get all their knowledge from a collection of documents written by ancient desert dwellers who knew very little about the planet or the universe.
