Verb:
Succeed in material terms; be financially successful: "his business prospered".
Have a look at the FML graph, if you bought at any time along that graph, 90% of the time, you are now down, you have not prospered.
If you look at the tax filings for FML they have not paid much tax, coz they have not prospered, get it?
