Yay ...I'm bored too. I loved this poem Beckett wrote at the end of his shortish and ( unsurprisingly ) unhappy academic career

Spend the years of learning squandering
Courage for the years of wandering
Through a world politely turning
From the loutishness of learning.

One thing the world currently lacks is a truly great satirist like Beckett who would disentangle this absurd mess the world finds itself in in his own unique way .I wonder what he'd make of it all ? I daresay he'd be none too surprised
