there are solutions for wifi in high density areas. think about wifi in university campuses, hospitals, etc with an 802.11n access point

And the speed is pretty good nowadays under the 802.11, good speeds can be achieved up to 11mbps I believe?
I use wifi wherever possible. Not only in Australia, but overseas. I have been stung by large bills and even though mobile companies are increasing the download limits on most plans, the amoutn of info downloaded from websites, apps, maps,etc and information we are accessing on smartphones is also increasing, I think at a much higher rate.
