Its a slow news day at PEK and why not its the weekend. but if you have moved the lawn, yelled at the kids and been knocked back by the wife(twice) and are looking for something to do then Ive spotted a is a very interesting read. Check Omgwens posts on LYC today especially the one about Rare Earth vacume cleaners.
Apparently Dysons have patented Rare Earth (Nd-ium) of which we have heaps, motored vacumes, which are far superior to previous types. I think they sound like they will be cordless too, which i will love because vacume cleaners always have cords that are too short and they really annoy me!
Check it out on LYC thread. Very exciting to PEK holders because we basically have the same basket of REE mix mineral wise as LYC ie heaps of N-ium.
And if they come up with even more high tech new uses for our REEs the market tightens even more. Anyway have a read, its one of the better and more original articles Ive seen about REEs lately.
