I think I see how it works now. So determining the exact location of the oil/water contact will enable us to work out the net pay oil column.
What we know so far..
"Gross 57 meter (minimum) oil column in dolomitised limestones"
"Net pay difficult to determine because of log response, lost circulation material etc but minimum of ~12 metres"
So we really don't know the potential because we dont even know how large the oil column is. All they know is that it's a 57 meter minimum oil column..with no confirmation of the oil water contact...hmm
I wonder how they were able to determine a minimum net pay of 12 meters?
They could report anything on Monday really.
