1, They recovered almost no core the question is why?
Hopefully the reason is that the reservoir is full with big vugs and completely saturated with oil.
2, There no reason that U1 and U 2 will get in the way of each other in terms of production. If you wanted you could drill another 4 wells from the same location or more. Just move the rig sidewise a few metres. Makes for cheaper drilling as all the equipment and campsite, water bores etc are already on site so to speak.
3, So drill another well, well if U2 flows the same as U1 then the answer is yes as they will most likely not have found the oil - water contact with this well.
