watson is a wasted talent as an opener - hopefully the new selectors see the common sense in not putting so much on his shoulders
no probs with marsh, but selectors do see a certain potential with hughes and you have to give those types a go - do you reckon warnie shoulda been dropped after no wickets and getting smacked for a ton of runs from his first test?
but if he fails this dig, yeah, give him a chance to hone his technique before he comes back, ala hayden
new selectors = new paradigm and i'm much happier than the previous selectors, who had little clue, imo
