Eagle,
Did Howard ever have so long with the professional opinion polls running so severely against him?
Gillard scraped over the line with a minority government (meaning alp didn't win) in early Sept last year. Once she backflipped on her carbon tax promise in February this year, her polling and ALP's polling have been fairly consisently well down.
This seems too consistent to be considered just a fluctuation.
And, for those who think that no-one much will notice carbon tax, someone has told me they heard that this might be the last year for spectacular christmas light displays. I can only imagine that most residents will no longer be able to afford the electricity after carbon tax bites.
If so, that's pretty sad for the kids of this country, imo.
