My 2 cents worth - POG $1650 and AUD/USD at parity is IMO a strong position, I mean, better than it was 12 months ago.
My clumsy take on the Eurotrash crisis is that the majority of them will chop up their credit cards, and re discover the values they had before the banks started dishing out easy, high priced money, so they could buy consumer rubbish they really didn't need. It'll take years to settle down, but, I believe they've been scorched enough not to be so foolish again.
They'll put their cash in the bank, and buy gold, because gold is eternal, and real, and looks nice, and the missus can wear it.....
