It's quite possible . Look at NMDC. First they approached Atlas to buy into the Magnetite project but couldn't agee on terms (read low ball bid). Now the same with MAK? And then go back to Atlas?
Good thing there are other potential partners.
It's clear they will need the fertilizer.
Also sharp fall in rupee plus India's need to preserve hard currency will be weighing. So really they boast big ballance sheet but when it come's to put up or shut up. they seem to be preferring the latter.
Actual DAP or superphos. is 5 years away. They will be hurting by then.
