As i dont hold and have never held JBH you can the comments below as either uninformed or alternatively are an unbiased ,objective observation 1) comments on this thread confirm my view that many Australians look for the cheapest price..not a good thing to hear if you are a retailer(or a shareholder in a listed retailer) 2)the whole Australian retail market is going through a paradigm shift.just because a business model worked in the past doesnt mean it will work in the future(the retail market in Australia is imo not adjusting to how people wish to shop. For different reasons the sp of our listed retailers will fall in a way not completely dissimilar to that of Bluescope..(I was calling BSL a sell when it was $2.20 12 months ago .although never thought it would go as low as $0.40) 3)imo Australia must be the most over retailed country in the world.every month a new shopping centre pops up with all the same retailers.JBH,good guys ,bunnings etc etc...yet the population isnt growing at that rate so all it does is spread the same sales dollars over more shops but the overheads.eg rent.wages etc keep going up..the only winner in all that are the landlords any way just my views best of luck to all JBH holders ps imo the professional shorters will love this stock as they loved Bluescope...what is the catalyst for listed retailers to see their sp rise?..imo none but plenty of reasons to see why the sp will fall
