Bajaj Commercial Vehicles to get "gas direct injection (GDI) technology"(OCP)

Bajaj Auto is preparing to unpack its range of commercial vehicles, with a touch of ultra small car frugal, for which he acts as a contract manufacturer. The vehicles will be referred to the heat coming from Indian Auto Expo 2012. But Bajaj is highly fascinating new bikes to the likes of the KTM 200 Duke and recently demonstrated Pulsar range will not be part of the mega auto show.
In the face of it, the company does not wish to lose on the exclusivity of these motorcycles. These bikes are the result of a know-how and thinking that is beyond the conventional methods of producing Indian motorcycles.
The 2012 New Delhi Auto Expo is likely to welcome a new range of Bajaj commercial vehicles; a number of which are boasted by the power of electricity and CNG. Experts and enthusiasts are expecting to have access to Bajaj’s gas direct injection (GDI) technology, as a part of display, which was first used in the Bajaj RE auto-rickshaw. The technology stands apart by revamping the two stroke engines completely, as it offers a host of advantages in terms of power, minimum fuel consumption and controlled emissions.
The success of the aggressively priced small car project, which is also a part of announcements made by Renault, Nissan and Bajaj following the revelation of Tata Nano, relies heavily upon Renault and Nissan's approval. Bajaj will involve itself in the manufacturing of this car through a contract with Renault and Nissan, and will be assigned with the responsibility of disseminating this car in India.
Bajaj is quite confident regarding the success of the commercial vehicle and expects it to carve a niche in the rapidly growing mini pick up and passenger carrier segment. These two segments currently have one and only ruler, the home grown car maker Tata Motors.
