To be convicted on "possession" only with no prior history and "possible" interference is unlikely to bring a significant conviction in western countries.

We would not stand for that here so why would we not cause a stir.
We don't agree with human rights violations in other countries and so if we disagree with the way justice is measured out elsewhere we shouldn't just say that is their way, we should say that is not good enough.
