with due respect, I don't think you fully understand what a fund manager does, the limitations imposed, the process or the level of skill many of these people have.
Many people bag fund managers - (by the way fund managers in the case of large funds aren't the guys that trade, a principal is the guy hitting the trigger) yet few could ever match performance on a dollar/volume basis.
