Hang on a second here... the Unions have stepped onto Qantas turf here, not the other way around.
If you want to step into someone's backyard, throw your weight around, make demands, disrupt business operations, destroy shareholder value, then you better be sure to lead by example and have integrity.
The Unions claim to take the higher morale ground in their crusade, so how can you sack a quarter of your own workforce and then expect to command respect and have people take you seriously?
Like I have suggested all along, IMO Unions act in self-fulfilling ways, exactly the same as normal businesses do!
