A spokesman for Indonesian search and rescue, "The boat was carrying illegal immigrants." I guess he's not shy about not using the politically correct words, 'asylum seekers.'

Many of the 'asylum seekers'(my inverted) flew from Dubai to Jakarta, where Indonesian officials are said to have been ready for migrants to arrive, charging them each $500 to pass through the airport without visas. They arrived over several days and were taken in four buses over 23 hrs journey to an unknown location on Java's south coast. The modus operandi highlights the increased confidence of the people smuggling rackets and the huge demand for their services.

There lays the obvious solution. Until Indonesia's blatant disgusting corrupt heap of islands is put in it's place then the tradegies will continue. What a sorry excuse for a Gov, the Indonesian Gov. And the Red Head gives more aid from our purse. Are they some important massive economic power? No. Are we scared they will keep our 14 yrs old dope users locked up? Put these two bit people in their place.
