Thanks for the feedback. The general mood was very positive but I guess they were preaching to the converted a little. Will take a ounce of luck as well as it seems the economic deposit is there but it is a huge area in which to look. The majors would be looking at the potential and to me there seems to be plenty of that. A Oktedi type deal would be good for holders. Also Sudest maybe granted in a few months...This is PNG thou so who knows. But when granted I think you will find some drilling will be there shortly after... Looking at high grade gold hits there which will no doubt excite the market...
One thing that struck me was how important the resource industry is to PNG. Seems most people at the airport had a company logo on. PNG has a lot of potential if only the money can be used wisely.
Only small fish up where the camp is. Too much gold/copper in suspension for the larger fish to breath ;)! Larger fish at the mouth.
Denver believe hole 5 was stopped early.... maybe should have keept going if the better rock is deeper.. cost/risk thing..
Retrac - More about the geography and the adventure of the trip more than anything. He was playing his cards close to the chest.. I did ask if they would buy Andewa for 400 - 500 mil.. didn't give me a answer thou which was rather rude ;) !! (did hear him say 'bloody hell' when looking at one of the cores thou)
Lash - Was easy to organise. FNT contact.
DH- That flight was ok. The planes were very good.
Germ- no verticle holes at this stage. one is 75 degrees.. not sure which one now thou.. So as they are cutting accross targets and it seems the better stuff is deeper. Be interesting to see the deeper drill hit these targets...
