An observation with maybe an answer from the learned scribes on this site... ....2011 is all but gone I have been counting the profit and losses from 12 months of investing. What is rather disconcerting for me is my "bushie" style investing has out preformed my university trained broker. So,is being rather poorly educated (when it comes to investing)an advantage? I look back to the near past from Enron till now and the record looks like a multi car crash. Most of which has been caused by so called experts.Maybe,some are too clever and devise ways to use modern technology to invent new ways of manipulating proven investment methods.I have a very simple method and it works for me...and seeing it is Christmas and the the time of goodwill to all men here it is....when you can afford to drink whiskey drink beer...if you can afford to drink beer drink water...that way you will never go broke...problem is there are many who should be drinking water and are drinking whiskey.....anyone for a glass of Glenfiddich. The very best to all the scribes..have a wonderful Christmas and a profitable and stylish 2012.
